Bio
Maryanne has been involved in education and curriculum design since 1992. She has taught high school, TAFE, and at the Central West Community College where she also undertook the position of Program Manager for Literacy. Maryanne's duties included development of courses and workshops for a wide range of students, professional development of the staff under her responsibility, creating course materials for students, and liaising between funding bodies and the College.
Maryanne has qualifications in Education, Literacy, and Web Development. She joined CSU in 1998 and since then has had the privilege to work with the School of Nursing, the School of Public Health, and Student Services in developing print and online subjects. Maryanne has also worked with a team of staff on the initial development of Web-Ezy and the Human Resources Occupational Health and Safety training program.
Maryanne's aim is to provide the best learning environment for the student in whatever medium is suitable; face-to-face, print, online - or a combination of these things. She also aims to provide professional development to the staff within the Schools she services through both formal and informal means.
