Bio
Ryun started working at CSU in 2006 in the Learning Materials Centre firstly as a Media Officer and then as the Multimedia Development Team Leader. Ryun is currently the Media Technologist for the Division of Learning and Teaching Services and Team Leader for the Bathurst Media Development Unit.
Ryun holds a Bachelor of Media Communication from Charles Sturt University and is continuing post-graduate study as well as pursuing his interest in the evolution of the semantic web and other Convergent Technologies. Ryun has over 10 years professional experience as a videographer, graphic designer and online architect and has worked on local, regional and interstate projects of varying scale and has been published in the traditional broadcast and print media as well as online.
Ryun’s interest in Convergent Technologies and Information Communication Technologies in education stems from his professional experience as well as personal research into the history and art of storytelling particularly the connection between stories, the telling of stories and the exponential evolution of technology as a tool of delivery.
