Undergraduate study at CSU
Your first degree
Whether you’ve just finished school, or you want to return to study, if you are working towards your first university degree then you’re an undergraduate student.
At CSU, you can study a professionally accredited Bachelor degree or, in some areas, an Associate Degree or University Certificate. We offer a wide range of degree programs, and you can study on campus, through distance education, or a combination of the two.
Beginning your university studies is exciting and challenging. Charles Sturt University has developed innovative ways to support you as you study, no matter which flexible study path you choose. We’ll help you fit university into your life.
If you are studying on campus, you’ll experience lectures, tutorials and our unique online learning support. Depending on your course, your assessment will include essays, exams and practical activities such as workshops, fieldwork and placements in the workforce.
The full-time study load is four subjects per semester, but you can decide when, where and how you study.
Other ways of studying
If you would like to study a specific topic without committing to a full degree, you can study a single subject at CSU. It’s a good way of seeing how further study can fit in with your life.
